Shrimp, Fava Bean and Zucchini Pasta
Despite all the peeling required with the fava beans (some you know I hate peeling things), the pasta was great. It’s a simple dish that really highlights the fresh fava beans. To put it over the top, add a poached egg to each serving!

Chocolate Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Frosting
The cupcakes were scrumptious with a moist and tender cake. The frosting had a great peanut flavor and wasn’t too sweet. We had the SNDsters top their own cupcakes with cacao nibs and M&M minis. And once again, they were enjoyed by all.

We tossed around a few ideas for the main course, including braised pork belly, but went with veal chops with morel mushrooms. I couldn’t pass up making the fantastic morel sauce.
